Mom's Brownie Pudding

Great on winter nights with vanilla ice cream. It is part brownie - part oozing chocolate syrup!

Mom's Brownie Pudding

1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp cocoa
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 3/4 cup hot water

Preheat oven 350

Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt

In another bowl add 1/4 cup cocoa to hot water, then add brown sugar

Grease a 9"x9" baking dish

Make a well in dry mixture. Add oil, vanilla, and milk.

Add to greased dish and spread.

Add liquid over batter using an inclined spatula.

Bake 40 minutes.
